The week zoomed by with the highlight being the Purina #BetterWithPets Summit in Brooklyn. It was an intensely memorable event, unlike anything I’ve experienced before and will be doing a full report on Tuesday. The focus was on the importance of emotional wellness in pets, a subject close to our hearts at Cat Wisdom 101.

There were other adventures in New York including a private party at the newest and dare I say, most fabulous cat cafe. More about my visit to KonekoNYC soon.

The craziest news this week: I love investigative journalism and during deep research uncovered some secrets about a cat painting creating viral buzz The Truth about “My Wife’s Lovers” Cat Painting. Here’s the crazy part. Hundreds of news/media channels and blogs are repeating the same wrong facts which are shared on social media with millions of views. I can’t compete with the big guns but posted factual details and hope the truth wins in the end. As always, don’t believe everything you read.

  1. Well, you certainly DID have an eventful week. We are looking forward to hearing more about the Purina Summit.

We’ll check out Skout’s Honor now. It sounds like good stuff (thanks for sharing about it with us).

Purrs to Merlin, and all of you!

  2. Concats to all the winners!!!!
We look foward to hearing all about the summit . We have to be whole to be truly happy no matter if we are human or animal.
We purr and pray for that wholeness for all every day!

  3. We are very interested to hear more about the Purina Summit. And Mom is going to check out Skout’s Honor right now. She thinks she has tried just about every product on the market and none live up to their claims. Maybe this will be the one! 4. So glad you had a wonderful time at the summit, it sounds like an informative and event. We have been trying to keep warm as the cooler weather takes over and applying healing purrs to our Mom so she feels better and stays free of issues this winter. She says we are living proof how important the relationship between the emotional and physical health of cats and that of human’s is, as our wellness helps our Mom inspired and motivated to get up everyday, not to let health issues keep her from living life. Knowing and seeing to it that we are happy and healthy keeps her healthier.

  5. A lot of great news and happenings.

Yes, pets are the best Rx — especially cats.

Cats and dogs really do know everything about us; they just don’t say it in word language.

  6. Yay! I won! Thanks so much for the giveaway. I can’t wait to see your recap of the Better With Pets summit – I wish I could have been there with my human.
