We have good news and bad news. The bad news is our vet said it’s a super bad year for fleas and ticks. The good news is we have giveaway of two gift baskets courtesy of Petarmor. We’ve been using a natural flea and tick repellent but as our regular readers know, our cats are indoor/outdoor and enjoy our wild gardens. @AnnaZed, we haven’t tried their product so can’t comment. We only review products which we have hands on (paws on) experience.

Mom has to tell you she GOT a tick (on her b*tt) and she is still recovering from the bite. Now mind you it was a deer tick (MOM found out all kinds of things about ticks she never knew) and that is different from what they call a dog tick. Thankfully in her case Mom got Dad to get it off of her before things had gone too far, but now even 10 days later she has a big round ‘wound’ from the bite. It’s nothing to be messed with kitties. But we have protection for fleas here and are never allowed out so the possibilities of a tick are very remote for us.

We have a backyard FULL of deer, turkeys, and all things wild! Our kitties are ONLY allowed outside under our watchful eye & strict supervision. We keep them safe from the wild animals, but we can’t keep those pesky fleas & ticks from climbing aboard. We sure could use a little added protection for our cats. Thanks for entering us!

I foster for a local cat/kitten rescue (Rebecca’s Rescues on FaceBook), so the cat basket would be great. We work completely off donations. We have 4 full time kitties that we serve (remember, Dogs have owners. Cats have staff.) and at any time 2-5 fosters. So we have a houseful.

I would love the pack for cats! I have 3 cats, who are all indoor, however, we feed a stray cat named ‘Biscuits’ & they interact through our pool screening out on our pool deck. There is no doubt that Biscuits has fleas, so we can never miss a treatment for our 3! A gift pack would really help with the costs! Great give away!
