Mondays With Merlin: ASPCA Adopt A Senior Pet Month Invite

Did you know November is ASPCA Senior Pet Month? It’s Merlin here and I’m purring with excitement to share my good news. When you get to be 20-years-old every day is pretty exciting but today I get to invite you to a special event. We’re teaming up with the ASPCA for a Twitter Chat. Think of it as a party online to celebrate senior pets and what makes them so special to their adopters. The event will focus on answering questions about senior pets – why they’re great to adopt, their special needs compared to a younger pet and what you should consider before adopting a senior pet.
Besides me, there will be an ASPCA expert on pet adoption. My mom, Layla Morgan Wilde will be there and Cat Wisdom 101 will be the event co-host. And there will be prizes! More details to come but for now, circle your calendar and share. Shelters are full of older cats who are waiting for their second chance.
