Yay, It’s World Spay Day!

Today is World Spay Day, the spay/neuter awareness initiative from The Humane Society. To learn more, find events in your area and low-cost spay/neuter, visit Humane Society Spay Day

Cat Wisdom 101 supports this important cause and we’ve entered Odin as a late entry in the Humane Society Pet Photo Pageant. We don’t expect to win but a vote for him = $ to help pets. See his silly self here

We made this infographic to hit the message home in a (no pun intended) timely manner. Spay/neuter saves lives and prevents the misery of unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. Please share.

  1. We tried to vote for Odin, but we aren’t on FB. That is so frustrating & annoying! (It feels like coercion, join or you can’t do anything, but we ramble . . .) Anyway, Happy Spay Day! We are going to borrow your clock graphic & post it on our site, with proper credits of course. Thanks, Layla!

  3. Spay and Neuter is such an important subject, that is for sure. Wish we could get the word out to the people in the rural areas. Love that graphic. Take care.

I’m always telling people about the importance of spay/neuter.
The people who don’t spay are the hardest to convince.

  7. Yeah Spay! (and neuter). We love saving lives and as wonderful as kittens are… we can’t bear to see more born that will only fill our shelters. We encourage everyone to support their local group(s) who provide low cost spay/neuter so it is available to all!
