The New Yorker Cat

We subscribe to The New Yorker and Merlin enjoys the cartoons especially those by Roz Chast. The latest issue has a timely one of hers on the cover but Merlin doesn’t entirely agree. What do you think?

We’re enjoying a quiet Sunday. That means instead of juggling ten plates in the air, we’re only juggling three.  One plate fell, so no new book review today but we are happy to announce the winner of last week’s giveaway for a copy of the deeply insightful Animal Wise: The Thoughts and Emotions of our Fellow Creatures.

   From what we remember about the “golden mean” in art school, the cat is actually positioned in a more optimum and pleasing position than the dog.
