If we ever needed extra luck not to mention smiles, it would be this St. Patrick’s Day. Pubs in Ireland and where I live in in New York will be closed. A historic first. It’s just one of the endless changes due to the Coronavirus pandemic. We live in tumultuous times but thank goodness for cats and their ability make us laugh. Cat humor diffuses stress and who knows, maybe sprinkle a little luck on us?

It’s one thing to be lucky but we can keep our cats safer with common sense. March is Pet Poison Awareness Month.

Let the shenanigans begin with the sweet Bengal Callie.

I’ve always said black cats are lucky but not as lucky as the person who adopts one.

Many of my friends and readers worldwide are in lockdown, some version of quarantine or living with unexpected restrictions. Hello, I need toilet paper but feel blessed for what I do have. More than ever, we need a collective kindness, courage and patience. Meditation helps, being out in nature and cuddling a cat. Oh and dollops of humor will go a long way to endure this CATastrophe. No cartoonist gets us cat people like Scott Metzger
