Kilkenny Cats by Ryan Conners Halloween Black Cat Art Giveaway

Kilkenny Cat Art Halloween Black Cat Giveaway featuring artist Ryan Conners.

Ryan Conners is an American self taught artist known for her whimsical cats of every color but my favorite ones are black. For the past 12 years, the prolific artist has painted  charming felines traveling solo or groups in vintage cars, on bicycles or scooters, gossiping in cafes, sunbathing or enjoying a purrfect life. Ryan is obviously cat obsessed and lives with several kitties in Pennsylvania. Her black cat art is inspired by her black cat, Pierre.

I was thrilled when Ryan offered to paint a black cat for Black Cat Awareness Month and is offering the original painting for one lucky winner! Scroll down for giveaway details.

WINNER of last week’s pet portrait giveaway is Gail Rivard @pickles.and.maya Congratulations! Look for an email from Layla.

Baby, it’s getting cold outside. Time for pumpkin spice lattes, cozy sweaters and black cats! You may have seen this popular cutie online but Ryan has made a veritable tasty buffet of Halloween season kitties. Curl up with your cat and enjoy our favorites.

When you see art as cute as this online, it’s not surprising to hear about copyright infringement. It’s sad but true: Ryan grapples with theft on a regular basis. If you want to purchase her art work or products, please buy ONLY from Ryan Conner’s website where there are links to her authorized online shops like RedBubble and Society 6

For her latest news and sales, follow her on Facebook or Instagram

All of her products are well priced for gift giving but I’d start with yourself first. They are too cute to resist!

  1. These are adorable! It’s too bad that there is a copyright infringement problem. 😢😢 Halloween is the best time of year!

  2. Oh my goodness!!! I absolutely LOVE this Cat art!!! So creative!! I have two rescue kitties! My kitties are my life!!!!😻😻😻😻♥️♥️♥️♥️

  3. This is a beautiful piece of art, celebrating beautiful and under appreciated living pieces of art, black cats! 🖤

  4. I absolutely love all these prints since I have a black cat rescue from the devastating storm,Harvey, in 2017 in Houston. The homes in back of me were flooded with 3 feet of water with less than an hour’s notice,so residents had to flee for their lives with no warning. About 2.5 months, my black cat,Harvey, showed up at my patio gate. I worked at night, but he waited for my arrival every night with a mouse in some stage of gifting. Sometimes he had it alive in his mouth, sometimes in the process of eating and other times, just the innards remained, even though I was feeding him. Since I have a 16 year old senior, I kept him outside until
He was checked out by my vet.. no diseases,so he came in and joined our family, which took a long time for my senior to accept. All finally went
Fairly well, until his checkup in Nov. of 2019, when we found out he had lymphoma. The senior cat gave me the clue as she kept smelling his anus,so thought it was impacted annal glands as there was a strange odor. Took him to my feline board certified feline vet and then got the
Shocking news. He started two compounded meds, alternating
daily, and thankfully, his wbc count started to come down as well as his glucose.,Each visit it decreased and two weeks ago the count was
Normal! He has responded beautifully so far and acts almost as if he has
No serious disease , but his life span is about 3 years and he’s made it
One as of November. We call his vet Saint Francis! He’s my miracle
rescue and I love him dearly and will see him through this life changing disease. He is black cat number one to me!

  5. Ryan’s work is so flippin cute!!!!!
It is a shame that there is always someone that wants to steal something!
Good luck to all! We are beginning to be a black cat haven for sure. Thanks as always for the super cool giveaway.

  6. Adorable art! TW used to have friends in a band called Kilkenny Cats. If I win, please send the art to Timmy Tomcat with my blessings. He sounds like he really wants it. We love it but due to TW’s health, we’re downsizing here.

      1. So do we Layla. He was some kind of special boy. I keep telling myself not seeing more strays is a good thing and means there is balance. Down to two outside a male and female. Both nice cats but nothing can replace the many black panthers we had.

  7. Oh, what delightful artwork!
I am sorry to hear that she’s had copyright infringement problems, but other artists that I know have the same battle.
I love all cats, but housepanthers simply make me SQUEE!!!
