Cat Expert Jackson Galaxy Partners With Petmate For A New Line of Cat Products

You may know Jackson Galaxy from his show My Cat From Hell on Animal Planet or book, Cat Daddy, but I know him as a fellow cat expert who once sat on my porch three years ago but has since hit the big time. I’m thrilled about his latest venture partnering with Petmate on an innovative new line of cat products. This is every cat behaviorist’s dream come true. www.petmate.com will launch Jackson Galaxy cat play products including toys, wands, kickers, scratchers, tunnels and tents at Global Pet Expo tomorrow. The products will be available to ship to retailers in summer 2014. I can’t wait to test and review them!

Cat Daddy, the man with a mission to save and improve the lives of cat, now has over 500,000 Facebook fans, the fifth season of My Cat from Hell premieres on April 26, and a new book, Catification will be published later this year, he sells tons of cat products at his website and has a charitable foundation.

As someone who has been privy to the behind the scenes rise of this star, marveled at his transformation from media innocent to polished star. He’s gone from filming at my house in 2011 (that’s Odin, my cat resisting his charms) to the sexier version of himself surrounded by a team of agents, assistants and publicists. That’s show biz but I kind of miss the simpler guy. I say peace, love & purrs and he says love, light & mojo but what we both mean to say is: we love cats. Rock on dude!
