’80s Feline Flashback & Chinese Mew Year
Cat lovers are used to snapping photos on daily basis but way back in the pre-digital era I rarely photographed my cats. This oh so ’80s pic of my rare female, ginger tabby, Billie Beans tolerated lots of goofing around with me. She also didn’t mind my horrid hairdo or taste in t-shirts. Some cats don’t mind playing horsie on someone’s lap but I wouldn’t recommend it. Cats don’t like having their belly exposed against their will. A less laid back cat would be be likely to lash out or bite.

I only have 2 or 3 photos of my first cat, but over the years took more of them but nowhere near as many as with digital cameras. The first 5 years of Eric and Flynn’s photos are all pre digital.
Eric was very laid back and loved having his tummy exposed. I would pick him up in my arms, tummy side up and he would stretch right out full length.
