It’s Mancat Monday and the boys are crowing about one of their favorite mancats from London named Bob. We loved last year’s huge international bestseller A Street Cat Named Bob, the inspiring true story about a street musician James Bowen and a ginger cat named Bob who saved his life. It’s sold over a million copies and the rights sold to 27 countries worldwide. The American sequel, The World According To Bob will be published by Thomas Dunne/St. Martin’s Press in May 2014 but we received an advanced reader copy which we devoured in two shake’s of a cat’s tail. The continuing story of James and Bob and their remarkable life together is one of friendship, trust and loyalty. For us it confirmed how a cat can be a guardian angel, soul mate and teacher of life lessons. They are a “must read” for every cat lover. Odin, seen above, gives the books a four paws high-five.
