Caturday Cool Stuff for the Dog Days Of Summer

Happy Caturday. Are you feeling the dog days of summer? Are keeping your cats well hydrated? The Saturday Photo Hunt Theme is “Really” and we say because it’s really, really hot, we need to cool off and have fun. We’ve spent the week lolling, languid and trying to stay cool. Odin, pretend swimming above, managed to catch a mouse despite his torpor. Merlin who is always cold loves the heat and Domino wishes he didn’t have such a thick fur coat. Our friends at the blog Katnip Lounge shaved two of their cats with a”lion cut” and I have to admit it’s a handsome way to look and be cool, but will Domino agree? Personally, I’d rather stay cool in a pool like this vintage cat-shaped swimming pool and read a magazine with a frosty cocktail.

My human is not a big fan of swimming pools (she prefers to swim in the sea) but she’d make an exception for this one 😉

Yes, hot is the word around here. Am thinking of a lion cut for ched; he seems miserable. I will take a look. Odin looks so cool;it makes me cool just to look at him in the blue.

It is hot hot hot here in Texas! Momma keeps us inside during the day…. which we don’t really like, but oh well! We get to go out after 7 or 8… It is still light out so it’s ok…. at least we get to have some fun in the yard!

Concats on the first sale!!! We know the shop is going to be hugely successful as the word spreads far and wide.
Isn’t it always a “DOG” that causes us cats problems? If it were the “CAT DAYS” of summer it would be 70-75 degrees with sun, no humidity and a nice breeze……Dogs humpf! what do they know?,

We love that cat-shaped pool! What’s the point of boring, rectangular ones?

We think we’ll stick to air-conditioning, though. We aren’t fans of going for a swim.
