Bulls-eye on Shelter Adoption Success

If you’ve ever doubted your power to help get cats adopted, you can rest easy. Look who got adopted!

I’m thrilled to announce our foster girl’s sister, Vanna was adopted. Plus a few other wonderful cats at the New Rochelle Humane Society have gone to new homes. Seeing empty cages makes my day, so thank-you.

This week’s spotlight is a bulls-eye, a bulls-eye tabby that is named Smokey. He’s a classic or blotched tabby with a distinct bulls-eye pattern. In his case he’s a silver tabby and I’m hoping his fortunes are turning to gold. You see, there’s not a thing wrong with this handsome, lovable fellow but some bad luck in his recent past. His owner became homeless and so Smokey lost his home and his owner. Together we can change Smokey’s luck to a shiny new future in a wonderful new home. Share and one person will tell one person and so on until the right person goes, “Oh, that’s my boy!”

That’s great news about Vanna. I hope Smokey’s turn is coming up very soon. His short video on Petfinders should do the trick. Beautiful markings and so friendly!
