Cat Calls Review & Giveaway Winner

If you love cats, sharing makes us purrrr :-)

Reviewed by Layla Morgan Wilde and Gris Gris.

A seamless collaboration between two cat lovers, Jeanne Adlon and Susan Logan resulted in Cat Calls. Part memoir of New York’s first professional cat sitter, Jeanne Adlon and part expert advice on cat care, this book is a delight for cat lovers of all ages. Gris Gris and I enjoyed reading the nuggets of wisdom and anecdotes told in an easy conversational style thanks to the writing flair of Susan Logan, editor of Cat Fancy.

I’ve done my share of cat sitting over the years but nothing beats the 35 years Jeanne has. From the pampered Persians to troubled tabbies; you name it, she’s seen it all. A cautionary tale for this time of the year involved two kittens left freezing in a closet because the owner neglected to secure a balcony door. A winter storm blew it open, quickly turning the apartment in an icebox. Luckily Jeanne saved the day. (As we head into the holiday season, it’s critical we leave our pets with proper supervision if we travel). This book, with charming illustrations is a perfect holiday gift for any cat lover including your own cat sitter. Gris Gris agrees. To read more or to buy, visit Amazon Cat Calls
