New & Mews: The theme for this week’s Saturday photo hunt is Monochrome. These are photographs in one color or shades of one color. For us this week it’s blue! We can’t wait for Daylight Savings Time and warmer weather but until then, Odin is my hot bath muse.
Our videos are hot and cold, literally. Old man winter dumped another 9 inches but a little snow never stops our cat Odin from playing it in.
For something hotter, a tropical beach and swimming cat? I wonder what Odin would do? Do you know any cats that like swimming?

From my 4 cats only Arthur goes into the snow, he loves to use it as litterbox. It’s so soft apparently !
They say we’re supposed to get 8 inches today (Sunday) but I’ll believe it when I see it.
We used to have a cat, Rufus, who would lie on top of me as I floated on my inflatable chair in the pool. He was the same color and pattern as the cat in that video too!

Odin reminds me of Kozmo! He does the same thing! It has been warm here. Me was even outside today in the sun on the deck and our snow is just about gone!
And swimming…ME does not minds the water at the lake and has been into it up to my elbows, but me has not tried much swimming.

I love the video of Odin trying to venture out in the snow. I notice he didn’t get too far as his feet must have gotten cold.
I am glad he didn’t or he might have fallen into a snow drift taller than him. 
The other video is the first time I have ever seen a cat swim and sort of like it. I thought cats hated water.

We actually had some hot and cold here in Florida and had to break out the big red blanket because the nights have been so chilly! No snow, though!! Have a great weekend all and hope it warms up soon for you!
