Okay, I mean no disrespect but respect is at the root of my displeasure. You see, it all started with an antique Valentine dredged up by Layla.

Now what self-respecting cat would ever has such low self-esteem? We are noble by nature and not riddled with neurotic insecurities. At least not most of us.

I had no choice but to rate the new Valentine’s Day cards Layla designed as EPIC FAILS. Do let me know if any are amusing or worth sharing with a friend.

It gets worse. Do you know any cats this desperate for a Valentine? I think not. Desperation is the Kryptonite of love.

Oh dear, this smacks of co-dependence. The only rescuing cats need are from shelters and adopted.

This is interesting for its use of the word ” purrfect”. I thought it was a word coined after the advent of the Internet but it’s been around for over 50 years!

Ah, do you remember gathering in from of the TV without distractions? You could really snuggle up with someone without worrying that they were secretly or not so secretly checking their phone. Cats like 100% focus on them. You can’t pet and scroll at the same.

From the choppy seas to the stormy skies. No! You do not want a self-destructive “bad-boy” Valentine. They will break your heart but at least you’ll have your cat(s) to comfort you.

As I’ve contended all along, you’ll be happier making your cat your Valentine. Will you?
