Help Your Shelter With Hill’s Food, Shelter & Love Program
Update: This campaign has ended but check out our valuable free guide about adoption.Odin (shown above) and the Cat Wisdom 101 team are excited to announce Hill’s Food, Shelter & LoveTM provided over $240 million worth of food to nearly 1,000 shelters, 365 days a year helping over 6 million pets find a new home…and counting.
Did you adopt your cat(s) from a shelter? Remember adopt don’t shop. Cats and dogs bought from pet stores are usually from puppy mills raised in inhumane conditions.

What a great program! Like our friend (and fellow PAWS volunteer) Maggie already wrote, PAWS is already a Hill’s shelter. 🙂
Skeeter and Izzy
We will definitely pass this along to our shelter management! We were not shelter adoptees but Skeeter was abandoned in a box on the street at a very early age alone and Izzy was a feral that was severly under nourished due in part to food allergies. Cats rock no matter where they come from! Luvs to all Skeeter and Izzy >^..^<

PAWS in Norwalk CT (where I volunteer) is a Hill’s Science Diet shelter.
It’s wonderful that the Hill’s company supports shelters.

This is a great program. I’ll have to try to remember come April to check in.
You asked if my girls are shelter cats. Back in June, which is National “Adopt a Cat” month, I blogged about the life of my girls. This is a link to the post. http://www.debscupoftea.com/2012/06/salute-to-val.html

That’s wonderful. I love learning about which companies give back and I’m happy to hear that Hill’s does. Thanks for sharing!

i don’t understand. are they going to supply the shelters with all the food they need an extended period? they want shelters to sign an agreement to feed science diet exclusively. that’s pretty extreme if they’re just going to donate a few pallets.

All shelters have to buy food from somewhere. No company provides gets 100% free food. The Hills offer is generous and good quality.
