Sheba Cat Food: Feed Your Passion Contest
When a big box of goodies arrived from Sheba, the premium cat food brand, Odin showed off his passion for hunting by playing with the feather wand toy. There are 17 varieties of Sheba but the turkey and responsibly-fished tuna were Odin’s favorites. Full disclosure: Our cats inhaled each one as if they were treats.

Eva Longoria is the brand’s spokesperson and we love the new commercial. It’s hard to say who the real star is. Eva is pretty but Nick, the Russian Blue kitty is pretty spectacular! Who rocks it better?

I’m going to be the “negative nellie” here and say that while the commercial is well done, I don’t, for a second, think Eva did the dancing. I think all she did was show up at the end. The cat is gorgeous. When a non cat lover is shown this commercial, they might not remember for whom this was done, but they will remember the woman doing the shimmy. I’d also like to know who sings the song. I bears a bit of a resemblance to Carmen Macrae. I like this version as I’m only familiar with the Rosemary Clooney version. Interesting contest. Wonder during what TV time Sheba has purchased ad space.

We loved Sheba when it was on the shelves once upon a time in the square containers with the foil top then it just disappeared. We have started to introduce it back into Skeeter’s diet again.

Kyo and Karupin love sheba. We’ve tried the turkey, chicken and salmon/chicken varieties and they love them all.

WoW what a commercial! I never really thought much of Eva, I adore the Russian Blue. My opinion of her is only from the past Desperate Housewives, so it’s probably wrong, especially if that’s her cat.
The cat dances beautifully, choreographed beautifully. Great contest too!!
