Ahoy mates! It be your lucky doubloon day with two posts! Shiver me timbers; it’s International Speak Like Pirate Day. Cats were a pirate’s favored companion on the high seas for keeping rodents at bay. Today, cats all over the world are celebrating Meow Like A Pirate Day. Avast and arrrr and meowaaarrrrrr!

arr! matey! ahoy! me wanna snag some krispy kreme, except we don’t have them here.
in north carolina,we went to a krispy kreme factory and watched as they were being made and then we bought one. still hot.
New England only has one, and that is at Mohegan Sun.
New Englanders stick by Dunkn Donuts, headquartered in MA. I did find the Krispy Kreme too gooey. For a while, they were sold in stores here, but not sure why they didn’t continue. Probably, because we stick by DD.
It was fascinating to see the donuts made at the store in Atlanta and really good to get one that came off the conveyer belt seconds ago.
In Atlanta, we also went on the Coca Cola tour, and saw the Vault, where the secret is and watched the bottling and got a free glass bottle of coke. Fascinating museum.
Think I will buy one at DD today.
