Loved To The Moon and Back: 9/11, Pet Memorial Day, Blessing of the Animals
Loved To The Moon and Back: Today is 9/11 and Pet Memorial Day. There’s a spooky deja vu in the air. Five years ago, the three events fell on the same day and we blogged about it Blessing of the Animal on 9/11 and Pet Memorial Day
Guess where we’re going today? The Blessing of the Animals but this time we have another name to add: Merlin. This was our post last year and if you haven’t seen it, you may find it insightful. The oldest pet cemetery: remembering Coco, Radish & Gris Gris
Our shareable graphic is from our own memorial garden.
And for the exalted Merlin, who graced my life for 21 years and made the most graceful exit of his nine lives.

Planning is good and hopefully execution leisurely. Nothing worse than having to hurry xoxox

they are always in our hearts… and we hope once we can remember without crying bitter tears with remembering the good moments … hugs to all who who were on our side and who loved us…

Your memorial garden is beautiful. Today is the one year anniversary of my Lucy’s passing.Spooky is buried outside because he loved to be outside. We have a large rock over his grave that I still need to paint a black cat and his name on.

I didn’t know it was Pet Memorial Day. Those who wait at the Bridge are forever loved, forever remembered.

That’s so beautiful, dear friends. We will never, ever forget the terrible events of 9/11, and we will always hold our animal angels in our hearts.

That last photo made the head peep reach for the kleenex. We had forgotten it was pet memorial day in conjunction with 9/11. There’s lot of remembering going on today.
