This post is dedicated Radish, a dear but very ill rescue cat who sadly passed away last week. We enjoyed a brief but special connection. This how I'll always remember him: free, loved and finally out of a shelter cage.
For the past couple of months, we’ve been singing the praises and purring about Hill’s® Ideal Balance™ Crafted™. cat food. The new “small batch” made in the USA pet food boasts high quality meat/fish/fowl as a first ingredient, wholesome vegetables and ancient grains like quinoa AND no wheat, corn, or soy, artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives.
What we love is how the wet cat food is gently cooked to purrfection. They mix the meat, gravy and vegetables into a delicious stew. Meat or fish is the first ingredient. Then it’s canned and slow-cooked at 250 degrees to lock in flavor and nutrition. Years of taste research ensure each bite is as tasty as it can be. The well-crafted style: slower, small batch process ensures quality and consistency. Like other Ideal Balance brand products, all Ideal Balance™ Crafted® pet foods are made in the U.S. from only natural ingredients. That’s something to purr about!
This Hills Crafted image from the HillsPet website reminded me so much of when I was a little girl. I loved puttering, creating, cooking and of course cats. From the age of three, cats were my special friends. We spoke the same language and still do. Some things never change. I’m still a messy cook and I still love cats. If I could I would cook the purrfect cat food one batch at a time, but I’m an adult now with more practical concerns. The most loving thing I can do is leave the “cooking” to the experts. Mmm, salmon with peas and parsley, anyone? Learn more at #HillsCrafted Plus they have a Crafted-version for dogs too.
