Great French lesson! French was Mamma’s major in college and she studied abroad in France two different times and in Martinique another time. Mamma loves the French language!

We speak French all the time! Oh, Oui Oui . . . (hee, hee!)

The human spent a year or so living near Paris, so she learnt some French words like Le Weekend and Le MacDonalds! She’s clever like that 😉

Such a cute post. Merlin is quite the bon vivant! You didn’t know we’ve learned some French, did you? Our mommy spent a summer there studying. We think it was before electricity was discovered. She and our dad are going to Paris in November as there belated anniversary present to themselves. We are trying to get them to let us go now, but so far no luck. They’re afraid we might do something risqué and get in trouble. Anyway, we wish efurrybuddy a lot of fun. Thank you so much for those great French lessons, Merlin! They will be helpful to Moose and his pals while they check out the site in Paris (thank you for the link!). 🙂
The Cat who Went to Paris sounds like a neat book. I will add it to my ever-growing list of ones I want to read!
Hugs!

Thank you for the French lesson, Merlin! I studied French when I was in college but forgot most of what I learned. I want to study again.

Ol’ peepers says that French in Canada isn’t the same as Parisian French. She says I must brush up on my French. MO– — — USES!

PS. MO– — — USES! transcends the language barrier, I do believe. purrs

They hear the food is better, the girl cats slimmer and so fine and friendly, and that the homes are full of aromas that people have barely smelled here.
I need to make a French breakfast today.
Humm.
Going to get croissants and add cream cheese and dark chocolate and then melt some dark chocolate and swizzle that over the cream-cheese stuffed/dark chocolate shavings croissants. I am a Food editor in my other job, but I just made that dish up. Sounds French and tasty to moi!
Am truly going to make this later.
Bon chance! Bon Voyage! Will catch you in Paree!

Moi je prend le croissant avec chocolat SVP.
