Oh, my stars, it’s yours truly, Merlin back for a new week, a new moon and lots of us will be gazing at the sky tonight. Perhaps enjoying fireworks, a crackle of bonfire or burgers on the grill. The new moon is the best time to seed new beginnings for the weeks and months ahead. Our summer roses are in bloom and to my horror, we’re already seeing evidence of August blooms. No, no, no, dearest ones.

Savor the hell out of summer, go crazy in purrrrsuit of lunacy, in a good way.

The message is loud and clear even if today’s tarot for the week is a bit loony. The moon is the 18th card of the tarot and it’s a tricky one. My best advice is have a reality and find out what’ really weighing you down, it will pass. And like I always say to my feline student Push Push, “life is like horking up hairballs sometimes. It looks and sounds worse that it is. The moon plays tricks you know, but you can win by going within. Deep dive. Don’t worry, it’s not bottomless. If you’re feeling moody, you’ll regret having that third niptini in the morning.

If you’ve been following Layla’s adventures on Kickstarter, you’ll know it’s been crazy-making. We’re 10 days away from the Black Cats Tell All campaign ending, and need to beat the bushes big time to reach our goal.
On Wednesday at 1 pm ET, Cole and Marmalade are doing a Facebook LIVE event and sending some black cat love our way and you’re invited!
We’ve never done one before but lots of famous people do Facebook Mentions live video to connect live with followers. You can ask questions and who knows what. Facebook Mentions is only available to public figures with a verified Facebook Page or profile. The rest of us regular folk can do live events but it’s not the same buzz.
It was Marmalade’s birthday last week and Chris did a Facebook live event with about 250,000 views and thousands of comments. Can you imagine? Nobody ever did that for my birthday. Layla is doing admin for the event. Paws crossed.
