Caturday Easter Frolic and Photo Hunt
It’s a holiday weekend and we’d like to leave the heavy thinking to others.
Odin is resting from campaigning for votes to ponder life’s larger issues.
He also thinks we should not give real live chicks or bunnies as Easter gifts. How are your cats celebrating Easter?
Even though the weather is less than balmy, all our boys are spending more time outdoors. Odin caught his first mole, was spooked by a wild turkey, played with our neighbor’s cats and climbed 382 trees. All our cats know not to venture farther than our property. Domino and Gris enjoyed less strenuous pursuits like hot stone massage and watching which way the wind blows. Merlin parked himself on his favorite wicker armchair on the porch and sunbathed to his heart’s content.
Spring fever hits old, blind cat!
Normally, I put the baby gate up to keep Merlin from wandering off the porch and leave the front door wide open to allow him indoor access while I work nearby on a laptop. I keep a close eye on our blind boy but I went inside for a few minutes. Imagine my horror when I glanced out the window to see Merlin sauntering down the driveway! He’d somehow managed to squeeze through a slat in the porch railing hellbent on going for a walk since mommy was too busy. Never underestimate cats. All outdoor activities will need to be reviewed.
The theme for this week’s Saturday Photo Hunt is wind.
Cats know the joy of window whiffies and the exhilaration of a welcome breeze. Wind, whether gentle or wild is natural and the winds of change are nothing to fear.

You’re absolutely right, I’d really enjoy to discover more info on that subject! I’m as well interested in canon printer and scanner since I believe it is very trendy in these days. Thanks!

Happy Easter. Sounds like they had a nice time outside. Merlin don’t scare momma like that. One of my kitties got really sick this week. After many trips to vet and meds am trying to get him to feel better.

I SO envy you kitties getting to wander outside and enjoy real, live trees (not just cat trees)! We have coyotes and I am known as, um, “unpredictable,” so I am stuck inside. Happy Easter! I am hoping for an awesome basket of goodies!
