Dreaming of a White Cat Christmas
We’re taking a break from our Thursday Vet 101 Q & A to wait for Santa. Some of us are getting impatient and taking matters into their own hands. It looks like we won’t have white Christmas this year. Odin, who thinks he’s part Husky, is crazy about snow (this photo is from last winter).
Normally when you see a cat with the classic upright and bristled tail (piloerection) it’s a sign of aggression (territorial or other) but in this case, his back isn’t arched and he’s exhibiting aroused excitement, ready for anything including dashing through the snow in a one cat open sleigh…dreaming of a white (cat-filled) winter.
