The Art Of Living
Welcome to Mondays with Merlin. I was going to talk about the importance of patience, but I got sidetracked by my buddy Gris Gris. You see for many years I used to enjoy lounging all afternoon in an old covered swing in the secret garden. Those were the days before coyotes, when I could see without bumping into things and all was well. Now, the only time I get to enjoy lounging on the swing is when a human is nearby. That’s okay but it sucks not having privacy to dream feline dreams in the summer breeze.
That’s life. Things change. You take the good with the bad. The good is having Gris Gris share the swing with me for the first time this summer. It’s a mancat kind of thing with nothing romantic about it. Not that there’s anything wrong if we were inclined that way.
You could call this art. I’d call it the art of living. Either way life is sweet when shared with a like-minded soulmate. And no matter what you humans think, nobody owns a cat. Got that?

Lovely photos – who would have thought those two would ever relax together.

Merlin, friends come in all species and sexes…look at us Cats, benevolently keeping Humans for pets.

How true. Btw, Merlin in a very metrosexual mancat 😉

That is for sure. We do rule the world. Glad Gris Gris and Merlin are sitting on the swing together. It is so much fun when two cats become good friends. Take care and have a great day.

Marg, who would have thought these two old boys would get so close. Purrs to your mancats!

I think humans would do well to follow our art of living!
