Surprise Sunday – Cat Blog Finalist

If you love cats, sharing makes us purrrr :-)

Cats need more fresh water during hot weather to stay hydrated. Adding ice cubes to their water bowl is a fun treat.

Surprise, surprise, we’re back, sort of. We’re still on a vacation but couldn’t wait to announce the winner of last week’s giveaway for a copy of Cat and Crow. Congratulations, Cynthia Southern, you are the winner. Look for an email from Layla Morgan Wilde.

It’s hotter than a three-balled tom cat in our neck of the woods and the entire Cat Wisdom101 fur gang is loving it. Hot pavement you can fry an egg on? Yes, please. Sultry afternoons on the covered porch? You betcha. Languid is our word of the day; what’s yours?

We had no power last week after a freak storm hit our area. The kitties didn’t seem to mind and Oui Oui was still baking in sun puddles even though it was in the high 90’s and with no AC. Now that we are back on line, we went to the Petties and voted for you.

It’s been so hot, yes we can fry an egg on pavement! Ice cubes are really good treat for kitties. One of my boys loves to lick ice cubes and the other loves to play with them 🙂
