My Cat From Hell is Coming Back
This is one of my candid portraits of Jackson Galaxy aka “The Cat Daddy” taken in front of my house just before I launched Cat Wisdom101.
Jackson, a cat behaviorist Jackson Galaxy website and host of Animal Planet’s show My Cat From Hell is back with season 2! Mark your calendars: If you love cats (and if you don’t, what are you doing here?) you have a date on January 7, 2012 at 8 PM on Animal Planet. There are six new one-hour shows to amuse and enlighten cat lovers. This season promises more drama and feline behavioral challenges including Jackson suggesting psychotropic drugs when is usual holistic choices fail an unruly cat. You may not agree with everything he does. He and I share some of the same philosophies when it comes to cats but not always our approaches. It doesn’t matter. Remember this is television and entertainment. It can take hours to get a thirty-second segment. That said, he has a platform to voice valuable information and foster change for the well being of cats everywhere, and that’s what matters.
My cat daddy and our cats are excited about the return of the show but I’m even more excited about the launch of his book. Yes, you can pre-order a copy of Jackson Galaxy’s book/memoir coming out May 10, 2012.

Hairless Cat Girl
Hi Layla,
Huge fan of Animal Planet.
Jackson’s show is pretty dramatic but intriguing as well.
His book looks very good. He has a lot of experience with vets and working in shelters. He seems to have quite a connection with cats. The book has a lot of good reviews on amazon is costs even less now – just $15.
Must have been interesting to meet him in person and have him at your house.

Jackson I watch your show all the time and love it.I’m a cat person too. In fact I have been called the “cat lady”. I have a way with cats too. They just seem to be attracted to me. I have tamed two of what they call wild cats. One died of cancer but I have the other. She stays outside and can’t stand to be in the house. No one else can pet her. She’ll let my husband pet her but only if I’m there. Are you still going to be on? I hope so. Charlotte Houle
