A Dirty and Scrumptious Caturday
Spring has sprung and the word of the week was scrumptious. It happens to be this week’s theme for Saturday Photo Hunt.I had a sudden craving for red velvet cupcakes and baked some with a kitty twist.
Odin is preparing to compete on Wednesday for the AmazeCat Next Top Cat contest and will be asking for votes. Find out who the sweet sixteen contenders are at AmazeCats.
He’s happy to announce his furry face will grace the next series of AmazeCats playing cards. 
All our cats inhaled the sunny warmish weather by lolling on the porch on chairs, under chairs and on cushions.
Merlin luxuriated on the hot driveway recharging his amber collar in the sun. The heat feels good on old bones.
Domino was not amused by my dirt aversion. He’d roll around in the dirt and then try and hide.”Me dirty? Oh no, not me.” Do your cats like to get dirty?

My cats never minded dirt at all, but warm concrete or stone is the second best, warm sunny garden dirt is the ABSOLUTE BEST! God luck to Odin, glad to see Merlin, and we think Domino should be able to do anything he wants.

My feline family aren’t allowed outdoors. We live in a fairly populated area and there are too many cars speeding alone for the kitties to be safe outside. The do enjoy several sunny windowsills though, along with pots of fresh wheat grass and catnip. 2 out of the four enjoy water. In any and every form. So I often have wet cats but rarely dirty ones!

Ohhhh fun! Merlin looks quite happy to be using the driveway as a big heating pad and Odin – well – Odin is revving up for AmazeCats in a BIG way. Domino – I see dirt on those paws! Having fun are we???? Happy Caturday to all you guys (and your Mom Layla too!).
