Merlin (seen above) enjoyed a walkabout yesterday on an almost balmy day. Brrr, another cold snap is on its way.
I’m delighted to announce I’ll be a speaker at BlogPaws the premiere social media conference focused on pets in May. If you are a pet blogger, BlogPaws is THE place to network, meet friends you’ve only known online, learn new skills and have fun! This year the conference is at the Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort and Spa Since I’m the giveaway queen I’ve been asked to speak about guess what? All about running giveaways. We’re excited our friend and talented filmmaker Alana Grelyak from Cat in The Fridge blog is a finalist for her film The Inheritance which premieres today at noon at the second annual Catdance Film Festival sponsored by Fresh Step® litter in Park City, where the famed Sundance Film Festival is also taking place. Gilles Marini, recently featured in People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive issue and cat lover is introducing each of the five film finalists. The original and scripted cat-inspired short films will be screened in 3D.
After the screening, America will have the chance to view all the films and vote for their favorite feline film at www.freshstep.com/catdance, with the grand prize winner receiving $50,000 and a “golden” litter scoop award. To screen the films and cast a ballot for the viewer’s choice award, visit www.freshstep.com/catdance from Jan. 18 through Feb. 28, 2014. All voters will have a chance to win great prizes, including the limited-edition T-shirt, Fresh Step coupons and products from Fresh Step’s Feline Arts Council. We’ll be voting for The Inheritance and hope you do too.
