2018 Pet Holiday & Event Calendar For Cat Lovers is our gift to you for 365 days of purrs to celebrate cats. Instead of the usual list of holidays, we’re sharing a fun infographic. There are some new holidays both silly and practical plus dates of new cat events slated for 2018. Infographics tend to be super long, so to make printing easier for side by side views, this one is divided in two.

We have a very full plate this week of nursing cats and humans with colds. It’s an excellent time to hibernate and savor what Scandinavians call hygge.  If you live in a cold climate it’s the feel good warm coziness of snuggling with your cat under covers. Check back soon for an update. Be well dear friends. Here’s an old picture of coziness with young Odin and Merlin.

  1. That is a great way to keep up with the goings on in the animal world…my peeps brain for sure could not store all that info…well, maybe she could, but then could she retrieve it out of the filing cabinets in there? MOL!

  2. What a wonderful calendar! Thank you so much for such a great — and very useful — gift. Hugs to you all, dear friends.

  3. The calendar for 2018 is such a nice gift, thank you so much! We hope you all have a great New Year.

  5. What fun! But we’ll skip Jan 14…dress up your pet day…unless the clothes are virtual. 🙂

    1. Virtual clothes or accessories are our favorites too.

    1. Yes, you can right click on the images and print.

  7. Thank you for that great list ! Purrs

  8. Thanks so much for this calendar of events.

And purrific photo of young Odin with Merlin.

Imma gonna find my Chedster and nap with him.

My car battery died but I have been snowed into my parking spot. Never fear! Peapod delivers our food.

And when the parking space melts — soon — I will call Triple A.

Ched gave me the idea. He curled up with me, and I realized I was much better off indoors than outside until the temps get above 32. Like this week.

    1. You get way more snow than us. Listen to Ched and thanks. That’s a fave pic of the boys.

      1. Boston so far is ALMOST like Montreal. In terms of winter. Almost. I never realized how little I’d miss hubs because Ched keeps me comany. He’s now the photo on my iPhone.

      2. This winter for sure! Yes, to cats not hubs 🙂 I think even happily married women have their cat on their phone instead of their hubby.

  9. Super infographic! Love the detail.

    1. Thanks, there will be a few missing blanks added but it’s pretty comprehensive.

  10. Thanks for the great infographic!!
We hope you all feel better fast! Sending purrs and prayers.

    1. Happy New Year Cynthia! We’re off to a mixed start but we’re all warm weather lovers 🙂

  13. We would be very busy keeping up with all those holidays! At least we could skip Black Cat Appreciation Day, or could we? We know a lot of black cats. They might want a card!

    1. Black cats need all the appreciation they can 🙂

  14. I’m curious for january 22th… what will cats ask… and what will humans answer? interesting , I bet… and probably very funny ;O)))

    1. Who knows? Cats are mysterious. You could have “ask a Weimaraner anything day”. That would be funny xox

  15. Wow, this is comprehensive! But, I don’t want to think about November and December just yet…trying to warm up ’round here!

    1. Agreed. We can’t wait for spring but hibernating is fun too.

  16. I’m quite surprised there isn’t an International Mock Your Peep Day. Oh yeah… EVERY day is Mock Your Peep Day. At least at my house it is. MOUSES!

    1. Ha, shocking but true. MOUSES maybe you can lead the way?
