Cat lovers’ dreams came true in NYC thanks to a partnership with Purina Oneand the North Shore Animal League. Granted it’s only a four-day pop up event but the seeds are sown for a furry bright future where patrons can learn about cat health, nutrition, behavior and adoption. I hope one day there will be a cat cafe in every city.
If you happen to be Manhattan, the cat cafe will be offering free coffee (catuccinos) until 7 pm on Sunday. Check out the live streaming video.
Pawsome news!!! Everything that helps cats in any way is da bomb!!!! Maybe this type of place will allow some non cat enthusiasts to get to know cats and maybe change their minds. We HOPE!!!!! Luvs Skeeter and Izzy and the Feral Gang + Twig and Peanut and Romeo >^..^<
We read about cat cafes in Toyko and we think it’s great that people in New York can get their “cat fix” whenever they want, We hope they spread to more cities soon!

Mum heard about the one in Paris (she will visit it next time she goes over there) ; she likes the list of “do” and “don’t” for customers, so the kitties stay safe and happy. Do the NYC Cat Café have it too ? Purrs
We think it’s great that they managed to do this as a pop-up cafe. Maybe it’s possible to do it other places, too, more quickly than the long permitting process it takes to put in permanent cafes. Anything to help get more kitties good press and adoptions.

What a great idea! London recently opened their first Cat Cafe – a real business. I think this is a good start for the U.S. and would love to see one in every major city!
