America’s Biggest Free Pet Adoption Event Ever!
We’re thrilled to announce our involvement with the Mayor’s Alliance of New York City and Maddie’s Fund at a HUGE adoption event on June 1 and 2 in New York City. Maddie’sFund.org is a family foundation helping to achieve and sustain a no-kill nation.
Thousands of cats and dogs will be available for FREE to qualified homes during Maddie’s Pet Adoption Days on June 1 & 2! Meet your match at more than 50 Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals participating shelters and other adoption locations in the New York City area, and at two large, outdoor adoption events in Manhattan. See the awesome list of 50 participating shelters and other adoption locations in the NYC at Maddie’s Fund NYC or a sneak peek preview of featured cats and kittens available for free!
How Does It Work?
Adoptions of dogs and cats will be free to qualified adopters. Maddie’s Fund will pay organizations $500 for each adoption of a young and healthy animal, $1,000 for each adoption involving a dog or cat who is 7 years of age or older or who has been treated for one or more treatable medical conditions, and $2,000 for each adoption involving a dog or cat who is 7 years of age or older and who has been treated with one or more treatable medical conditions.
Even if you don’t live in the NYC area, you can do a good deed and help spread the word by sharing this post on Facebook, Google+ and Twitter.
