A Cat In Paris + Fun & Games
Cats and Paris are my two favorite subjects for books and films. Combine a cat with Paris and that’s catnip for this writer’s soul. At the top of my Netflix queue is Oscar nominated film about a cat in Paris aptly named A Cat In Paris. Based on a children’s book, this animated film is about rough and tumble adult themes like death and organized crime. The cat in the title is Dino, a cat who is a little girl’s friend during the day and moonlights as cat burglar’s side kick at night looks intriguing.
If anyone could be a cat burglar, it’s Odin who actually does steal trinkets. Earrings are his favorite and I never did find my diamond studded watch. With poses like this, he’s so disarming, you’d never suspect a thing!
Odin may not think he needs a costume but we’re having Halloween costume contest for cats and their feline friends. Post your photo directly to our Cat Wisdom 101 Facebook Page before Oct .27. There will be prizes!
We’ve had a pissy week and will post more Caturday pics tomorrow.
If like caption memes and like making your own, have fun adding some to our “I Could Pee On This… but” board at Pinterest. Tomorrow we’ll announce the winner of the hysterical book, I Could Pee On This and Other Cat Poems.

Texas, a cat in New York
I had reviewed the movie back in February. It was kind of disappointing in the sense that the cat doesn’t play a big enough role, I think.

Thank you for posting this!! Paris and cats are two of my favorite subjects too:) After I read The Paris Wife, I even emailed author Paula McLain to ask why Hemingway’s cat, F.Puss, wasn’t in it. She graciously replied that when Hemingway’s first wife, Hadley, was interviewed about F.Puss’s role as babysitter she said Hemingway built it up to much. Hope your weekend rocks!

We missed seeing it in the theater. Odin is one cool cat.

I am so sorry you had a bad week. I am about to have a bad one if Dad starts dragging out the costumes.

Odin is a hoot!!! I’m with you on cats and Paris. I lived near Chantilly for a while and was on the train into Paris every week. Love the city 🙂

Oh I am going to get this on Netflix.
Odin – so cute. But guilty guilty guilty.
Our boys have never stolen anything. But diamonds I think would look so special to a cat. So sparkly.
I keep my diamonds on my fingers.
I’ll see if the boys will dress for Halloween. Or, I might have to let them go in their birthday suits, which are, orange and black.

Oh goodie about the subscription fix. That’s gonna help me stay in touch with you.
