Halloween is nipping at our heels and in case you haven’t had enough of black cats, I revamped Everything you Need to Know About Black Cats adding why we remain blissfully ad-free for your viewing pleasure. Black cats are gaining in popularity seen on every social media platform and film, TV, podcasts, TikTok, Instagram Reels, you name it. I’ve been so busy learning how to make reels on Instagram, I forgot I’d been interviewed on Pet Pal TV. I thought it was audio and spur of the moment, but you can see me at home like everyone these days on Zoom calls. Casual but I promise I have pants on!

I’ll share a couple since I know some of you are not on Instagram. It’s a magical time of the year when the veil is thin between the seen and unseen worlds. I make ancestral altars every year. Tomorrow, I’ll post how to create a DIY altar for your over the rainbow bridge beloveds. I have a sweet wizard Halloween costume for Odin but I’ve had no opportunity to do a photo shoot. Will he cooperate? Your guess is as good as mine. As we all know: Cats Rule!

Halloween is not all mystical or spooky. I like to make DIY cat toys like these ghoulish Halloween treats last year but my friend Chase whipped up a new video this year, you and your cats are going to love.

And last but not least, one of my favorite cats from my book has another viral reel. Ledges from @Blackcattrails really is the feline queen of Halloween this year.

I wish I was so creative. I have golf balls all over the apartment and thought your ghouls were such a smart idea. I would never think of that. I even have ones that fluoresce to see on the course for finishing a course when it’s dusk. They would love the spider but I’m terrified and even fake ones freak me out.
If anyone has any ideas for blind kitties, feel free to let me know. Two 8-year-old brothers; they’ve been with me for six years and they have lots but I always look for new ideas. I also work with shelters.

Luv all of the vids! Great interview.
We have been celebrating both Halloween/ Day of the Dead and Black Cats all week. I have 7 “seasonal shirts”, one has the Sugar Skull and the other six have fall/Halloween prints and all six have a black cat on them!
My Black kitties love to hide in the shadows where I can’t see them and they won’t respond or come out when I call so I go into panic mode thinking that someone has made an unnoticed escape out the door. When they know I am about to come unglued they magically appear (I think that they are laughing too). My newest baby BOO loves to dash out the door and when it is dark out like it is when I feed in the AM. I can possibly miss seeing her so she now goes into her crate until I get the water etc. fixed on the outside.

A great interview by all. Great that there is a swing towards black cats being treated equally with all others. Life should be like that across the board, and maybe soon it will.
