Trick or Tuna Time
It’s beginning to look a lot like… no not Christmas, but our favorite holiday, Halloween or trick or tuna time. Merlin checked out the pumpkin display on the porch and got tricked into posing.
Domino, is getting less feral every day. He’s making up for lost time with his demands for daily massage. Little does he know I used to teach aromatherapy massage. Then again, maybe he does know.
Gris Gris has turned his herding ability to coaxing Domino indoors. It’s working. The next trick will be locking him inside for the night once the weather turns.
Gris Gris has other talents as well. I’m afraid to report this is true.
Gris Gris couldn’t be fooled into wearing a costume or into thinking fake pumpkins are real. What Halloween costume do you think would suit him?
Odin is always full of tricks. This week he climbed up the cedar branches to the roof of the barn. He’s climbed up on every interior surface so it surprised me to see him find a new spot. Devil would be the obvious choice for his Halloween costume or maybe not. Are your cats getting ready for Halloween?

We agree with Deb above and were also going to suggest a vampire kitty for Gris Gris. BTW, we love his name! The mom picked up a gris gris in New Orleans last time she was there. The kitties here have hats to wear, except Mica Moo. We just couldn’t put her through that. For some reason, none of the cats will hold their heads up if they’re wearing a hat! Are they trying to tell us something?

My cats would kill me if I tried to put a costume on them! Or…..at the very least, maim me beyond recognition, MOL.

Same here. Thank goodness for photo editing 😉

Oh I’m so glad to see Domino enjoying his cuddles… all your hard work is paying off.
Mr Darcy still hasn’t forgiven me for dressing him up on ‘meow like a pirate day’, plus here in the UK we celebrate Guy Fawkes Night(otherwise known as fireworks night) just after Halloween, which generally gives people an excuse to set off fireworks at all hours for a week – this totally freaks our two out, bless em. So all in all, I might have to let him and Sookie off for Halloween =^..^=

It’s great to see Domino going inside – he must be beginning to enjoy home comforts.

That is so great to see Domino walking into the house. We are so excited for him. All of you are all decorated up for Halloween already. That is great. We aren’t going to do much. We don’t get any trick or treaters and if we did, we would be far a way hiding.
Take care and have a great week end.

We actually love Halloween and love to help answer the door when the mini-humans come all dressed up. Except if they are dressed as a space alien, they we scatter and hide. We know the truth is out there!!!

My cats don’t care much for Halloween because we don’t really do much. But they LOVE that trick-or-tuna idea.

I love this post!! The trick with Domino, is to let him think his decision to come indoors was his own. Gris Gris and his herding skills are the purr-fect subliminal way to do that! I think Gris Gris would make a very handsome vampire cat!!

Happy Saturday to you and your gang
