Hot or Not?
By the time you read this, we’ll be in the middle of a snow storm. The only one excited is Odin, but then again he loves snow, and being in love keeps him warm. That and his agility training.
When napping he probably dreams of Mystery Miss. She wasn’t around yesterday, but it disturbs me that her caretakers leave her outdoors in this cold. She always heads in the same south east direction when she leaves but the terrain is too rough for me to follow her. I suspect she lives nearby on the next street. Here she is hot on the trail of who knows what on the scent super highway on the way to our front door.
While Odin dreams of his lady love, Merlin and Gris Gris dream of warmer weather. Both old boys hate the cold and a beach towel on a heating pad will be the closest they’ll get to a balmy beach.
A Cat Wisdom Bite
Gris Gris may look good with oranges but most cats dislike all citrus fruits. Citrus fruits (the fruit, seed and peel) are toxic to cats and may cause digestive upsets. A little nibble will do no harm but keep citrus fruits away from your cat.
Domino joins the hot spot but…
How hot or cold is it in your neighborhood today?

We had a little bit of snow which was followed by freezing rain – and more of BOTH today so it’s one big ICE RINK outside! Snow we can cope with – ice? Not so much! We’re cozy inside by the fire though so all’s well!
Stay warm Miss Layla and boys!

We had our first snow of the season and also some freezing rain for a nice icy crust on top! Fortunately it wasn’t much since neither critters or humans in this house like snow.
RumpyDog!
We posted something similar today! Everybody but DeDe loves snoozing on the big bed! DeDe prefers the floor… preferably close by Jen.

It has been raining a lot lately, but not so cold and I like it. Yes, oranges are not good for kitties. Gris Gris does look good with them, though 🙂
The Island Cats
We got a bunch of snow last night. We’re happy that we just get to look at it and not be in it!! Merlin and Gris Gris, we’re with you!! We much rather have the warmer weather!!

So cute! I love your thought bubbles! It is super cold here, so I am staying inside and reading pet blogs!

We don’t care for snow because when it snows here the power goes out for days! It,s a southern tradition!

Those pictures of Odin going up and down the tree are super. That is fun to see. MM is sure getting close to everyone. Looks like the gang is all nice and warm inside. Hope you don’t get way too much snow. Have a good week end.

MM is as big a mystery as Tigger is to us! Hope she does have a warm place to stay!
Austin has seen snow, once. It was documented. He wasn’t impressed!

None of my kitties have ever seen snow, so this is a tough one for us!! We have been getting very chilly mornings lately, so our Saturday morning jaunts have been moved to the afternoons. Our gang is very structure oriented, so although they still enjoy going out, they sulk all morning long and don’t particulary care when we say we will take them out later.
Bless our love struck Odin, I hope he has a great Valentine in store for MM.

I’m with Merlin and Gris Gris – I can’t wait for spring and summer.
I LOVE the bedspread/rug (?) Odin is sleeping on, dreaming of his mystery love – gorgeous pattern!
Fuzzy Tales
We hope the snow tracked away from you!
Annie was a snow-baby, loved being out in it if it wasn’t too cold out, but Chum definitely was a beach bum. LOL. Nicki and Derry go out in it but prefer to have a bare spot or two to hunker down on. And they don’t like the cold–couldn’t even get them into the back space this AM at -10C. 🙂
A happy and safe weekend to you all.

We’re in the same boat with you. The mandala pattern is actually a beach towel I bought in Florida last year. I loved it so much it’s draped on a massage table.

I’m feeling very Canadian today 😉 What’s a measly six inches of snow? Purrs to you, Nicki & Derry!
