- any time shared by a person and cat that shows their unique relationship in action
- precise point in time when a person and cat are on the same page
- human/feline connection that you want to repeat and/or make better with treats
- you and your cat’s “thing”
As a cat parent, you know the unique kind of joy these furry kids can bring you: the random, delighted sprint through the house, the gentle nuzzle on your neck, the purr that melts away all your cares. (Cats might just be the key to eternal happiness, wouldn’t you agree?). You and I know what makes cats so remarkable, so it’s important that we stick together.
That’s one of the reasons I started Cat Wisdom 101. I wanted to foster a sense of community among cat lovers – we are, after all, members of what I call: The Kitty Tribe! As it turns out, Meow Mix cat food has the same wish – they’ve just launched this amazing group called Meow Mix Acatemy, a one-of-a-kind society for cat lovers to learn cool expert insights, see cat-related news, and get special perks. I’ve signed up as one of their feline experts– along with many other top cat bloggers, authors, and ‘pet personalities’ – and you’re invited to join, too! Plus, all new members get a FREE bag of Meow Mix’s new Irresistibles Treats… pretty sweet deal.
What makes a moment irresistible to you and your cat?
For me, living with four very different cats means endless possibilities of irresistible moments. Right now, nothing beats my special time with Merlin. He’s enjoying his last hurrah of an extraordinary 21 years. He’s fragile but his vet thinks he has a little quality time left. I’m savoring every second. This photo of us was taken a week ago before he took a turn for the worse. It was a gorgeous blue sky day. The last hot day of the year and Merlin’s last bath where he could sun dry in the sun. He’s a life long sun worshiper and while I towel dried him, I starting crying. Somehow I knew it would be the last real summery day of Merlin’s last summer. He’s enjoying a new prescription food but you’d better believe he’s allowed treats.
