Tattoo Talk With Jackson Galaxy

If you love cats, sharing makes us purrrr :-)

talk to the hand-cat-tattoo-cattoo

It’s Mondays with Merlin, the meezer geezer and head cat at Cat Wisdom 101.

It’s come to my attention that cats are hot. They’re everywhere, even on my mom’s skin. I would have never thought in my 17 years to see such as thing, but it’s true. Tattoos are hot and cat tattoos gaining in popularity. The cult of the cat is growing. First we mark you, then we ink you. Can world domination be far behind? You, bet. Look at the photo evidence. You know who is really in charge he he he.

This summer, when cat daddy and Animal Planet host Jackson Galaxy visited, he showed off his pawsome sleeves of tattoos and said to Layla,”I’m surprised you don’t have any.” They’re both cat behaviorists but world’s apart. Layla said, “I almost got one years ago but couldn’t decide on the design. My body is my temple and prefer to keep my blank canvas pristine.”

Now, you don’t have to decide with new temporary tattoos with cat designs from Cattoodesign.com who sent Layla some samples to try.

She liked the large cat design and has worn it happily for several days. They’re easy to apply and last up to five days. We’ll report another day how long this one lasts. Who knows, if she likes it, maybe she’ll get permanently inked but I doubt it. Temporary is more fun.

Want to try one one yourself? Leave a comment here and I’ll randomly pick a winner on Friday for a free package of two tattoos.

I’d love to win the paw prints. I have one cattoo now, a tribute to my kitty that I lost to cancer. My next will be either a paw print or a silhouette of a sleeping cat on my wrist. These would allow me to give the paw a trial run before I get the real one done.

Oooh! No tattoos here lol. I have a young friend who is gradually covering her whole body with tattoos of cats! I always wonder what happens if you change your mind at a later date? People do change.

I’ve never gotten into tats because I don’t like what happens as one gets older. I recently lost a lot of weight and realize how a tat would look now. Shudder! However, nonpermanent ones sound ideal. Please enter me in the contest. I’d be willing to sport one for five days and then wash it off.

Don’t enter us in the giveaway either. For some reason, I do not like tattoos either. But lots of people do like them and that is their choice. Hope all of you have a great week.

If I got a tatoo, my kids would probably think I’ve become senile as I’m almost there, anyway, ha ha. They all have tatoo’s except one (I think?).

Mom is normally super anti tattoos (unless they are somewhere where she can’t see them lol)…but…that being said…since these are TEMPORARY and the paws are ADORABLE she said she would love to be entered please.

    Love, Cody
