Tara Hero Cat Partners With Holistic Cat Behaviorist Layla Morgan Wilde

If you love cats, sharing makes us purrrr :-)

Layla Morgan Wilde--Tara the hero cat

What happens when a hero cat teams up with a cat behaviorist to do good? A superhero partnership to benefit cats and those who love them. We’re thrilled to announce that I, Layla Morgan Wilde is joining the Tara The Hero Cat team as their official cat behaviorist. The official press release is not out yet, so consider this an exclusive sneak peek. I can’t comment on all the great things lined up in the months to come but will say: I’m honored to have this opportunity to make a difference in the lives of cats. Tara’s family, the Triantafilos, are based in Bakersfield, CA. and good people whose family values dovetail with mine. The partnership will focus on advocacy for responsible pet ownership and honoring the animal-human bond with compassion at any age.

Tara, a five-year-old, brown tabby leaped into international fame when a video of her chasing down a dog who viciously attacked her human boy in front of their home. The viral video has over 23 million views and Tara is poised to become the next big celebrity cat. Unlike Grumpy Cat, Lil Bub or other special needs celebrity cats, Tara is perfectly normal from all appearances. There are millions of ordinary tabby cats like Tara, but underneath her quiet exterior beats the heart of a superhero. Tara and Jeremy the boy she rescued are about the same age and are closely bonded. Tara would sleep in his crib and now walks Jeremy to school as protective as any mother cat. They embody the love and potential of the animal-human bond for the next generation.
