Feline Lovers’ To Find Happy New Horizons

If you love cats, sharing makes us purrrr :-)

Our one-eyed Odin isn’t going swimming but hey, feline lovers, Cat Wisdom 101 is sailing towards a new direction. It’s the biggest, scariest thing I’ve ever attempted but that’s why I feel the need to stretch out of my comfort zone. Over the next few weeks there will be more clues until the big reveal, and I mean big in a literal sense. Think of it as a hunt for pirate’s treasure and there will be plenty of treasure. Not all treasure is silver or gold. There are gifts we receive and those we give ourselves. They can be material or spiritual or soul full. Oh, and there will be our biggest contest ever, valued at in the thousands but the value to your soul? Priceless.

If you’re anything like a cat (and I think you might be), I invite you to be as curious as a cat and join me and the rest of our kitty crew for our new adventure. New and different can be scary because of the unknown, so rest assured many of our familiar blog features will remain. The new design will gradually shift to incorporate exciting new features, all for your benefit my dear cat-loving reader. It’s far from perfect right now with kinks to work out but friends accept us the way we are, right? Bloggers blog because we love it but without readers, it’s like talking to the walls and frankly I’d prefer not to add “crazy” to my cat lady status.

Help me out will ya? Comment, share your thoughts, email me, private message me on Facebook, Twitter or G+. Is there something you’d like to see more or less or not at all? Notice an error? Tell me. And no, I won’t share my secret just yet so don’t ask. You can take bets, gossip or better yet, share this post!

If you’re not already a subscriber, please subscribe via email
the subscribe box is in the sidebar). The big contest and future freebies will ONLY be open to subscribers.

Thanks for being a BIG part of the journey so far.

Peace, love and purrs,

xo, Layla

This post is dedicated to the memory of Wayne Dyer, the visionary speaker, teacher and the very first self-help author I read many moons ago. Millions of books and fans later, he leaves a rich legacy for those seeking happier lives. He was only 75 when he died on August 29, 2015. As soon as I learned the news, I Googled his website and scrolled through his dizzying, lecture circuit schedule. I’d been putting off, procrastinating and oh, I’ll see him next time. He was due to visit New York in November and I finally planned to attend but he won’t make that gig. Something about seeing the date of his I Can Do It conference sent a chill through me. Procrastinating made me lose an opportunity and I don’t know about you, but I’m not getting any younger.

Yes, I’m nervous about launching a new venture but there’s no time for fear. I’m going to follow Dyer’s advice. After all: what have I got to lose? It’s time to risk big, win big. I hope you join me.

“You’ll seldom experience regret for anything that you’ve done. It is what you haven’t done that will torment you. The message, therefore, is clear. Do it! Develop an appreciation for the present moment. Seize every second of your life and savor it.”
