On November 4th, bloggers around the globe unite to blog 4 peace or in our case, blog for peace with cats. One day, one message; let’s purr for peace together.
The #blog4peace is a favorite annual event we’ve participated in since 2011.
Founded in 2006 by Mimi Lenox, the simple idea of decorating your own peace globe and sharing it online has grown to thousands of bloggers. Every year we love to design new peace globes and see what other bloggers are sharing. The blog 4 Peace Facebook page is the main hub to see and be seen.
With the world is dire need of peace, balance and compassion, there has never been a better time to think about, pray about and share about PEACE.
Here’s a peaceful walk through 6 years  of our peace globes. It goes to show you with diligence and practice, anything can improve. Even our graphic design skills 🙂
We enjoyed a couple days of summery weather this week. One afternoon, I spotted Odin sunbathing in the garden so completely at peace, I felt the warm calm seep into my bones. Peace can’t be forced or cajoled or ordered on speed dial. It begins within one thought, one purr at a time.
It can happen anywhere, anytime, even in a city that never sleeps like New York.
Your working has been amazing. The wind of peace is blowing through. Regardless of one’s race, religion or nationality, I truly desire that peace will be fulfilled. 🙂
So sorry for being late. Your posters of peace and cats really nice and significant. Beautiful globes for Peace. Love you xoxo
Sorry I am so late. I love all your peace globes. Great post.
All your past peace globes are so nice. If Mom can remember, she thinks she’ll do that for us next year. We especially like 2013. Cats in the garden napping always bring peace at our house as well. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

Hi Sherry, it’s so nice to hear from you. Deep peace to you xo
Peace can’t be forced indeed but one can certainly have it. It’s lying within your heart. Kitties always help me waking it up no matter hard time I may be having 🙂
True, cats are peace ambassadors 🙂 xox
We love your peace globe this year, and we enjoyed the retrospective of your globes from years past. 🙂
Now more than ever, peace is what the world needs.
Hugs!

Thanks CK! May peace prevail.
peace is urgently needed… I so agree..and humans look much better when they smile and their mouth says peace as when they make an angry face and say war…
Ha, wow that’s true! Saying war does not look pretty!
Lovely graphics.
