Is it better to give or to receive? Today, we’re happy to give and share. We normally do Mondays With Merlin but today, he’s agreed to share the spotlight with Domino, who is the feral who came in from the cold. I’m happy to report he’s recovered from his illness and lounging safe and warm indoors. He’s one of the lucky ferals.
To celebrate his good fortune in this season of miracles, I’d like to offer a gift from one of our readers, Mary Matthews. Mary has written a charming feline version of A Christmas Carol titled A Feral Christmas that would do Charles Dickens proud. Ms. Matthews, the author of a romantic mystery series set in the Roaring Twenties is an animal welfare advocate from Southern California.
The e-book is free to download .

Very nice gift to share indeed! Thank you so much Mary and Layla. Much love to all Skeeter and Izzy >^..^<
This is my first time to your blog and I am glad Domino is doing better. All of my cats are rescued ferals who lived their lives in the woods behind our old house. We built a shelter for them and took them in if they needed medical attention or were driven out of the colony. When we moved to another town, we moved the colony who are now living inside with us or in a shelter we built for them. They are my joy and I can’t imagine life without all of them! So glad you took Domino in – some of my ferals lived outside for half their lives before coming in and they did fine!
Welcome, it’s heartening to know ferals can adjust even after years of being feral.
Amazingly, I downloaded this on Saturday, to enjoy on Christmas Eve!
I’m happy to add the link for the free Kindle apps. I should also say that A Christmas Feral will be free until midnight tonight, December 19, 2011. Then, Amazon is letting me offer A Christmas Feral for free again on Christmas Day. In the interim, A Christmas Feral will be priced at the lowest amount Amazon allows – 99 cents.
OH we are so glad that Domino is better. Thank you for sharing this lovely e-book with us!
