When my mom, Layla first started this blog, she wrote fun profiles for each of our cats including their age, astrological sign and religion. Cats of course don’t follow organized religions since they prefer to be worshipped as gods. If cats were religious, they’d probably follow in the footsteps of the Dalai Lama who has said his religion is kindness. I couldn’t agree more. This is Merlin and it’s Mondays with Merlin when I share feline secrets, wit and wisdom. We’re bracing ourselves for Hurricane Sandy and if you’re in her path, we wish Mother Nature treats you with kindness.

We hope all is well with you, it must be rough, we are feeling the wind all the way over here.
Mom had to get the book right away for her Kindle and every morning, before the Daddy gets up, she reads to us. (sometimes she cries a little, but it’s a good kinda cry we think) It’s a very beautiful story and words to live by.

We’ll get the tail end of it, as it swings around and hits the Great Lakes, but I don’t think our particular part of Ontario is in the high-rain zone, unless the combined storms track differently.
