ManCat ManCave For Real!
Two years ago a massive storm uprooted a big tulip tree on our property leaving a perfect den for feline adventurers. Odin loves hanging out there and welcomes any cool cats to join his secret mancat mancave. That means you! First you have to slip through a Tarzan maze of roots and ivy tendrils.
Once you get inside, it’s a fragrant hidey-hole of earthy kitty bliss.
Here take a virtual sniff…welcome to the club!
If you are an indoor kitty, you can get the next best thing from these whimsical pieces of functional art are called Katzenhoehle, or cat caves. Each is handmade of felted wool by German artist Dornroeschen Filzunikate. There are several styles and sizes to choose from like this one with toadstools. These caves are apparently washable and don’t leave dirt on your paws like mine.

The indoor cat cave is a neat thing! We love Odin’s outdoor one, its soooo cat cool! Izzy says it could be a girl cave too!
