A cold snap and snow flurries have blown into in our neck of the woods. On days like this it’s good get in touch with our inner summer. For Man Cat Monday, we’re pausing to dream about greener days or what we like to call our secret summer. So, the next time you see your cat lolling by the radiator or heat vent, they’re probably indulging in theirs. Shhh, don’t tell anyone; it’s our secret. Do you have a secret to share?

OHHHHHHH the sweet smell of sunshine! Izzy has not been out of the house since it snowed last Thursday and now its going to be very cold and windy too …..she has been hiding in the closet because the snow sliding off the roof scared her the other day even tho it never scared her before.Skeeter still comes and goes with the duration of outside time changing with the temp and wind. Happy make believe summer to all! Luv Skeeter and Izzy >^..^<
So that’s why they are sleeping more now that it’s gotten cold.

Not so secret! Yesterday it was so warm and sunny we had the door open all day long. So Barney was “up” to his high-flying antics, jumping on the upper rim of the door. I like your approach, too, Layla. Memory is a wonderful thing. Warm sunny and green, only if we so choose.
